Purpose

Neda wants to know what a ready-made agent can do for her shop before she adds it, and what Agentum can do that she has not tried yet. Stories are short slideshows of three to five frames that introduce an agent or a feature and end with one button to try it.

Before you start

Stories stay out of your way: they live in "What's new" in your account menu (select your picture at the bottom of the sidebar; on a phone, open the menu and use the star button next to settings). A dot on your picture means there is a story you have not watched. "What's new" is not shown when there is nothing to show or when the product team has switched stories off for you.

Steps

  1. Select your picture at the bottom of the sidebar, then "What's new". A window opens with round pictures and a name under each. A ring in your accent color means you have not watched that story yet; a grey ring means you have.
  2. Select a story. It opens full screen on a phone and as a tall card on a computer. Bars at the top show which frame you are on, and the name and age of the story sit under them.
  3. Move through the story:
    • Tap the right side (in Farsi, the left side) to go to the next frame, or the other side to go back. The arrow keys do the same, and Space on a focused area works too.
    • Hold your finger or the mouse button down to pause. Let go to continue.
    • Wait: each frame moves on by itself after a few seconds. When the last frame ends, the next story you have not watched starts, and then the viewer closes.
  4. On the last frame, use the button. "Try it" starts a new chat with the agent and fills in a first message that you can edit and send. "Install" adds the agent, plugin or skill, or takes you to its page. "Open" goes to the page the story is about. "Upgrade" shows the plans. A story can also use its own button text.
  5. To close a story, press Esc, select the close button at the top, or swipe down. You can open the same stories again later from "What's new" in your account menu.

Expected result

The story's ring turns grey, and the dot on your picture goes away once you have watched every story. Choosing "Try it" or "Install" leaves you in a new chat or on the item's page, ready to use it.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
"What's new" is missing in the account menu It is listed only while there is at least one published story. Check again later.
The story does not move on by itself If your device is set to reduce motion, stories never advance on their own. Tap the next side or press the right arrow key (the left arrow key in Farsi).
The button is missing on the last frame Some stories are announcements without an action. Others hide "Upgrade" when you already have that plan.
"Try it" opens a chat without a message The story has no suggested message. Type your own.
