Change your username
Purpose
Sara picked her username in a hurry on the first day and wants something cleaner. Change the username that identifies your account on Agentum; it is separate from your Telegram username.
Before you start
Sign in to your own account. The username belongs to your account and is the same in every workspace.
Steps
- Open Settings, then Profile, then select "Username".
- Type the new name. Use 3 to 40 Latin letters, numbers, underscores (_), hyphens (-) or periods (.). Capital letters are saved in lowercase.
- To start over, select the clear button ("Clear username") at the end of the field. An empty username cannot be saved.
- Select "Save" at the top of the page and wait for the page to close.
Expected result
You return to Settings and your new username shows on your profile and in your account details.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |

| "Save" is disabled | The name is empty, invalid, unchanged, or a save is in progress. Fix the name and try again. |
| The name is rejected | Check the rules under the field: 3 to 40 characters, only Latin letters, numbers, _ - and . |
| The name is already taken | Choose a different username. |
| "Unable to update username." | Keep the page open and try again when your connection is back. |
