Browse, preview and download files in the Library

Purpose

Parisa remembers uploading last week's banner but not where she put it. The Library gathers your personal files and your project files in one place, so you can find them, preview them and download a copy.

Before you start

Select the workspace that holds the files. Your own files and each project's files are kept in separate folders.

Steps

1. Open Library in the sidebar. You see a folder named after your workspace. Select it.
2. Inside the workspace folder you find My files (marked Private folder, with your personal files that do not belong to a project, whether you uploaded them or agents created them) and one folder for each project, holding project uploads, attachments from the project's chats and files agents created in the project. Select a folder to open it. The path at the top (Library > workspace > folder) shows where you are; select any part of it to go back.
3. In the workspace folder, use Search projects to find a project folder. In My files or a project folder, use Search files and the All, Images and Documents tabs to narrow the list.
4. Switch between List view and Grid view with the two buttons at the top right. The list shows Name, Modified and Size for each file. The counter next to the buttons shows how many items are listed.
5. Select a file (or open its options button, Actions for [file name], and choose Preview) to look at it. When several files are listed you can move between them in the preview.
6. To save a copy, open the file's options button and choose Download, or use the download button in the preview. Your browser then saves the file.

Expected result

The file opens in a preview or is saved to your device. The Library is for browsing and downloading only: it has no controls to upload, rename, move or delete files. Add files to a project from its Sources tab, and attach files to a chat from the chat box.

Troubleshooting
