Data controls
Purpose
Sara wants to know what happens to the shop's conversations. This page has two switches, one for keeping chat history and one for allowing data to improve models; for now they save your preferences but do not change retention or enforce consent.
Before you start
Sign in and select your workspace. This setting is saved for your seat in the current workspace.
Steps
- Open the account menu in the sidebar and choose Settings (or use the Open settings shortcut listed under Keyboard).
- Under App settings, select Data controls.
- Switch Save chat history on or off. Its description reads "Keep your conversations available in your chat history and sidebar."
- Switch Allow data to improve models on or off. Its description reads "Allow your conversations to be used to improve Agentum models. You can change this at any time."
These switches save preferences but do not currently change chat retention or enforce model-improvement consent.
Expected result
Each switch saves as soon as you flip it; there is no Save button. You can change either choice again at any time. The separate Allow memory switch is on the Memory page.
Troubleshooting
