Write a Page and ask AI about it

Purpose

Sara's idea for the autumn sale arrives as three lines in a message, and Parisa needs a real brief before the banners can start. A Page is a document you write in Agentum with an AI assistant beside it: you type, you can ask the assistant questions about the Page or for draft text, and you can download the result as a file.

Before you start

Sign in and select your workspace. Pages are saved to your account as you type, so there is no Save button.

Steps

1. Open Documents in the sidebar. The page lists your Pages with their name and the date of the last change. Use Search documents to find one. If the list is empty it says No documents yet.
2. Select New. A Page called Untitled page opens right away.
3. Type a title in the title field at the top (up to 200 characters). Select the icon above it (Change page icon) to choose an icon and a color. Select Add cover to add a picture across the top; once it is there, Position lets you drag it into place, and Change offers Upload cover image or Remove. Only images can be used as a cover. Under the title, the page shows Participants, Created by, Created and Last edited.
4. Write in the body. Type text, or add blocks from the insert button (Insert) in the top toolbar: headings (levels 1 to 6), paragraph, bulleted, numbered and checklist lists, quote, code, a Formula (LaTeX) block, a table (Insert table), a divider, a Highlight box, an image or file, and Interactive HTML. Select text to format it: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, inline code, link, change its block type or alignment, or add a comment.
5. Point at the left edge of a block to open its handle. Drag the handle to move the block, or click it for Turn into, Copy link, alignment, Comment and Delete block. Headings can be collapsed with the arrow beside them, and a Table of contents at the side jumps to each heading. In a table, the row and column menus insert, move, resize and delete rows and columns.
6. To ask the AI about the Page or get a draft, select the AI button at the bottom corner of the page. A panel Work with AI opens beside the Page, with a normal chat box. Type what you want, for example "Summarize this brief in two sentences" or "Draft a short SMS for the autumn sale". The assistant answers in the panel's chat. For now it does not change the Page itself, so copy the text you want from its reply into the Page. Select text first, or use the AI button in the text toolbar, to ask about only that part. Select Close chat to hide the panel.
7. In the top toolbar, Generate adds a block where you describe what to write (What would you like to write?), Image or file adds an upload block, and Visualize adds a block where you describe interactive content (Describe a visualization). Send the request with Send request.
8. The round icon at the top right shows the save state: a spinner while Saving…, a check mark for Saved, and a crossed cloud for Not saved. If you lose the connection, the Page says Your changes are saved on this device and will sync automatically when you're back online. If the Page was changed somewhere else, it says This Page changed elsewhere. Your edits are saved on this device. Choose which version to keep. Choose Keep my edits or Use cloud version.
9. To comment, select text or open a block's handle menu and choose Comment, type under Write a comment and select Post comment. Open the Comments button in the top toolbar to see all comments; the menu on a comment offers Edit comment and Delete comment.
10. To save a copy, select the Download button and choose Markdown, Word or PDF. The Markdown and Word files download right away. PDF opens a print view in a new tab; select Print or save PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser. The title menu (your page title with an arrow) offers Download as Markdown and Word too, along with Rename, Copy then Copy link, and Delete.
11. To delete a Page, use Delete in the title menu and confirm Delete this document?, or point at its row in the list, open its options button and choose Delete [title], then confirm.

Expected result

The Page holds your written brief, shows Saved, and can be downloaded as Markdown, Word or PDF. The AI panel keeps its conversation with the Page, so you can come back and ask more questions or for more drafts.
