Usage

Purpose

Halfway through the month, Sara wonders whether the team is heading for its limits. See how much of your plan the workspace has used: runs, requests, tokens and the limits that apply right now.

Before you start

Open the workspace you want to look at. With permission to view workspace analytics, these totals cover the workspace. Otherwise, they cover your own usage in this workspace. Limit rows separately identify whether they apply to your seat or the workspace.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then "Usage".
  2. "Usage by activity" (when available) lists each kind of work, such as "Chat" or "Work", with its tokens and a breakdown of input, output, requests and runs.
  3. "Current usage limits" (when your plan has limits) lists each limit as "[used] of [limit]", with what remains, whether it applies to "Your seat" or the "Workspace", the period, and when it resets next. Limits over a rolling window free up gradually as older usage leaves the window.
  4. "Current billing period" shows "Agent runs", "Requests", "Tool calls", "Transcribed audio", "Recorded cost" and your "Plan".
  5. "Token usage" shows tokens for "Today", "This week", "This month" and "This year", each with input, output and cost. Embedding tokens are also shown and included when present. Calendar totals use UTC. Weeks start on Monday; months and years follow the Gregorian calendar.

Expected result

You see up-to-date totals for the workspace, or for your own usage if you cannot view workspace analytics. A dash means a value could not be loaded.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
Values show a dash Reload the page. If it persists, try again later.
A limit is nearly used up Wait for its next reset time, or open "Subscription" to look at other plans.
Numbers differ from what you expected "Current billing period" counts the billing period; "Token usage" counts calendar day, week, month and year.
