Browse agents and start a chat
Open in AgentumPurpose
Neda wants the customer support assistant, not a blank chat. Browse the agents, read what each one does and start a chat with the one that fits.
Before you start
Sign in and select your workspace. "My agents" includes agents owned by your selected workspace, including unpublished agents created by other members. Agents from other workspaces appear only when they are published.
Steps
- Open "Agents" in the sidebar. The page is titled "Explore agents". It lists "My agents" (agents owned by your selected workspace, including unpublished agents created by other members), "Top picks" (published agents from the community, up to 12) and one section per category. Use the category bar under the title to jump to a section. When a section is long, select "See more" to show all of its agents and "See less" to collapse it again.
- Type in "Search agents" to filter by name or description. If nothing matches, the page says "No matching agents". Clear the search to see everything again.
- Select an agent. A window shows its name, who made it ("By you", "By community" or the creator's website), its model, the number of "Conversations" and "Users", its conversation starters, the plugins it uses and "Agent details".
- Selecting a conversation starter opens the chat and sends that message immediately. Or select "Start chat" to open a new chat with the agent.
- For more, open "Agent actions" (the three dots). "Copy agent link" copies a link that opens a chat with the agent. "Edit agent" appears for workspace-owned agents. Saving changes requires permission to manage agents.
Expected result
A new chat opens with the agent selected. The agent uses its instructions and available tools. Check the model shown in the message box before sending.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| An agent I made is missing from "Top picks" | Only published agents can appear there, and "Top picks" shows at most 12, so a published agent may appear in its category without appearing in "Top picks". Open the agent, go to "Identity" and turn on "Publish in Explore agents". Your own agents are always under "My agents". |
| "Edit agent" is missing | "Edit agent" appears for workspace-owned agents, and saving changes requires permission to manage agents. Agents from other workspaces cannot be edited. |
| A copied agent link opens the agent list | The agent was deleted or you cannot access it. |
| The page is empty and says "Create your first agent" | You have no agents yet. Select "Create agent" (see "Create a custom agent"). |
