Login options
Purpose
Sara usually signs in with Telegram on her phone and wants a password as a second way in. See how you can sign in to your account, connect or disconnect Telegram, and open the password page.
Before you start
Sign in to your own account. Login options belong to your account and are shared by all your workspaces.
Steps
- Open Settings, then "Login options".
- Under "Telegram", the row shows your Telegram username, or "Connected" or "Not connected". If it is not connected, select "Add" and finish the Telegram authorization. If it is connected, select "Disconnect" to remove the link. If you have no password, set one before disconnecting Telegram so you can sign in again. The same connection is used for signing in and for the Telegram app.
- Under "Google", the row shows your email address or "Not connected". Its "Add" button is turned off, so a Google account cannot be connected from here.
- Under "Password", select "Change password" (or "Set password" if you have none) to open the password page.
Expected result
The Telegram row matches the real state of the link. On the Settings home, the Login options row shows a count such as 1/3. The count increases for a configured password and a Telegram connection. The unavailable Google connection does not contribute. The password row only opens the password page; nothing changes until you save there.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The Telegram row is still loading | Wait for it to finish before you act. |
| "Disconnecting…" stays on | Wait for it to end. The button is disabled meanwhile. |
| "Unable to disconnect Telegram." | The link may still be in place. Check the row, then try again. |
| The "Add" button under "Google" does nothing | It is turned off for now. |
