Plugins in Settings
Purpose
Once the shop's tools are connected, you decide how freely your default agent may use them. Open a connected plugin to pick the tools your default agent may use, and choose whether Agentum asks before it runs a plugin tool.
Before you start
Connect at least one plugin first, from the Plugins page. Only connected plugins are listed here.
Steps
- Open Settings, then "Plugins". The row on the Settings home shows how many connected plugins have at least one tool enabled for your default agent.
- Under "Tool approval", choose "Always allow" (the default), "Always ask", "Allow read actions" or "Allow low-risk actions". The choice is saved at once. In ordinary chats, "Always allow" never asks for approval, "Always ask" asks before every tool call of a connected plugin, and the other two choices ask before any plugin tool call (a plugin's tools are never treated as read-only, so these two behave the same). The request appears as a card in the message with "Approve" and "Reject". In Chat Automation on Telegram, "Always ask" requires your approval for every tool call, while the other three choices skip approval only for read-only calls.
- Type in "Search plugins" to narrow the list. Search text can contain up to 200 characters.
- Under "Default agent plugins", each connected plugin shows its name, description and how many tools are active. Plugins with active tools come first. Select one to open its tools.
- If the list says "No connected plugins", connect plugins from the Plugins page.
Expected result
Each plugin row opens the tool list for that plugin.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "No connected plugins" | Connect a plugin from the Plugins page, then come back. |
| "No matching plugins" | Clear or change the search text. |
| Plugin list is still loading | Wait for "Searching plugins…" to finish; more plugins load as you scroll. |
| A connected plugin is missing from the list | Clear the search text, check that the plugin is connected in the current workspace, and retry loading (see the next row). |
| "Some settings could not be loaded." | Select "Retry". Until it loads, an empty list does not mean the plugin is disconnected. |
| You expected these choices to apply to an agent you created | Agents you create keep their own tool settings; this page is for the default agent. |
