Dictionary

Purpose

Teach Agentum the names, brands and special words you use, so speech is written down correctly and the agent spells them the same way.

Before you start

Sign in and select your workspace. "Your words" belong to you in the current workspace: each workspace has its own list, so switching workspaces shows a different one. "Workspace words" appear only in team and organization workspaces.

Steps

Open Settings, then under Customization select "Dictionary" (after "Voice").
Under "Your words", add a word or phrase of up to 60 characters, for example a person, product or company name. You can keep up to 100 entries.
To add a correction, also fill in "Usually heard as" with the wrong spelling you keep getting, for example "a Gentoo" for "Agentum". Whenever speech-to-text writes that wrong form as a whole word, Agentum replaces it with your spelling.
To change or remove an entry, use the edit and delete buttons on its row.
In a team or organization workspace, "Workspace words" are shared with everyone in the workspace (up to 200). Owners and admins can add, edit and delete them. Members can see them but cannot change them.

Words Agentum learns for you

After you dictate, if you change a dictated word before sending (for example you fix "a Gentoo" to "Agentum"), a small message appears at the bottom center of the screen: Adding "Agentum" to your dictionary, with a "Cancel" button. After 4 seconds the word is added and shows in your list with a "Learned" label. Select "Cancel" to stop it, and Agentum will not ask about that word again. It learns only respellings, not rewording, and it skips links, email addresses, file paths and numbers. You can delete a learned word like any other.

Words are learned only after the server accepts an ordinary message. Private chats, private dictation, messages sent privately, and failed sends never teach the dictionary.

Where it applies

Dictation in chat and audio files you attach in chat.
Telegram and Bale voice messages sent to your bots. Only workspace words and corrections apply there, keeping the owner's personal dictionary private.
Live voice conversations.

Corrections change the resulting text. Your words are also shared with the agent, including custom agents, so its replies spell them the same way. Bots receive only workspace words for their replies, keeping the owner's personal words private.

Expected result

Names and special words you added are written the way you spelled them, in dictation, voice messages and live voice, and in the agent's replies.

Troubleshooting

Problem	What to do
A word is still misspelled	Add it with "Usually heard as" set to the wrong spelling you see. A correction matches whole words only.
An entry cannot be saved	Keep words to 60 characters and make sure you are within the limit of 100 (200 for workspace words).
The "Workspace words" list is missing	It appears only in team and organization workspaces.
You cannot edit a workspace word	Only owners and admins can change them. Ask one of them.
A learned word is wrong	Delete it from the list. Select "Cancel" next time so Agentum does not ask about it again.
No message appears after fixing a word	Only respellings of dictated words are learned. Rewording, links, email addresses, file paths and numbers are skipped.
