Personalization

Purpose

Mina would like every new chat to open the way she likes: patient answers and her usual questions already waiting. Shape how your default agent answers: its personality, its response style and the conversation starters shown in a new chat.

Before you start

Open the workspace you want. These choices apply to your own seat in the current workspace and to the default agent in Chat and Work. Agents you create have their own settings.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then "Personalization".
  2. Under "Default agent identity", select "Personality" to write or pick the agent's personality (see "Agent personality"). Its first lines show here once set.
  3. Under "Response style", tick any of "Friendly", "Professional", "Concise", "Curious", "Creative" and "Emoji". You can choose several. "Emoji" is on unless you turn it off.
  4. Turn "Show suggested prompts" on to display conversation starters when a new chat opens.
  5. Under "Conversation starters", select a starter to edit it, or "Add conversation starters" to add one. You can keep up to 8, each up to 160 characters.

Expected result

Each tick and switch is saved at once; there is no Save button on this page. New chats follow your choices.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
"Could not save settings." Check your connection and change the setting again.
No starters appear in a new chat Turn on "Show suggested prompts" and make sure you have at least one starter.
"Add conversation starters" is missing You already have 8 starters. Remove one first.
A custom agent ignores these choices These settings are for the default agent only. Edit the custom agent instead.
