Conversation starters
Purpose
Every week Mina asks Agentum the same few things, such as planning the month's budget. Write up to eight prompts that appear when you start a conversation with your default agent in Chat or Work.
Before you start
Sign in and select your workspace. Starters are saved for your seat. The Show suggested prompts switch on the Personalization page controls whether conversation starters are displayed when a new chat opens.
Steps
- Open Personalization from the account menu in the sidebar (or Settings, then Personalization).
- Under Conversation starters, select an existing starter, or select Add conversation starters (shown while you have fewer than eight).
- In the editor, type one prompt per box, up to 160 characters each. The placeholder reads "What would you like to ask your agent?"
- To add another box, select Add starter. It disappears once there are eight boxes.
- To remove a prompt, select the x beside it (Remove starter [number]).
- Select Save at the top. Empty boxes are dropped and spaces around each prompt are trimmed.
Expected result
Your saved list has at most eight non-empty prompts, and you return to the previous page. Saving an empty list is allowed if you removed every prompt.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Save is greyed out | Save is enabled only when the list differs from what is saved, and it is disabled while saving. |
| Add starter is missing | You already have eight boxes. Remove one to make room. |
| The message "Check your entries and try again." appears | A prompt is not valid, for example too long. Shorten it to 160 characters or fewer and save again. |
| The message "Could not save settings." appears | Check your connection and try again. |
