Turn on agent behavior options
Open in AgentumPurpose
Neda's customers want a quick answer, not an essay. Two small switches tell the agent to keep answers short and to name its web sources.
Before you start
The custom agent must belong to your current workspace, and you need permission to manage agents.
Steps
- Open "Agents", find your agent under "My agents" and select it. In the window, open "Agent actions" (the three dots) and choose "Edit agent".
- Open "Behavior". It lists two options, both off by default.
- Tick "Concise responses" so the agent keeps answers short unless the person asks for detail.
- Tick "Web source citations" so the agent includes the source addresses in its final answer when it used web tools.
- Select "Save".
Expected result
These options guide later answers. Chats that already happened are not changed.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Sources are missing in an answer | If an answer used web tools but omitted sources, ask the agent to include them. |
| Answers are still long | Add your own length rules to the "Agent instructions". |
