Share a saved chat

Open in Agentum

Purpose

Neda wants Sara to see exactly how the agent reached last week's figures, without copying and pasting the whole chat. Create a read-only link to a chat so someone else can read it, and delete the link when you no longer want it shared.

Before you start

Open a chat that already has messages and read it through. The link shows the text of the chat as it is when you create the link, so do not share chats that hold private details. The people you send it to need an Agentum account.

Steps

  1. Open the chat and select "Share" in the top bar, or open "Chats", point at the chat, select its options button and then "Share". The dialog "Share this chat" opens. Wait until "Loading link…" disappears.
  2. Select "Create share link". The dialog now says "Link is active" and shows the link in a box.
  3. Select "Copy link" to copy it (the button briefly says "Link copied"). To send it through Telegram, select the Telegram button. If your browser supports it, "Share to apps" opens your device's sharing menu.
  4. Send the link to the person. They are asked to sign in, and then they see the page "Shared conversation" marked "Read only · Sign-in required", with the messages from you and from the assistant, and a "Start your own chat" button. They do not need to belong to your workspace.
  5. To stop sharing, select "Delete share link". A question appears: "Delete this link? It will stop working immediately. Your chat stays in your account." Select "Delete share link" again to confirm, or "Cancel" to keep the link.

Expected result

Anyone who has the link and is signed in can read the saved text of the chat. Messages written later, files, and the agent's internal activity are not included. Deleting the link makes it stop working right away and leaves your own chat untouched. Chats that build a site cannot be shared.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
The dialog shows an error Select "Try again". The message reads "Could not update the share link. Please try again."
"Could not copy automatically. Select the link above and copy it." Click in the link box and copy it with the keyboard.
"Sharing is unavailable. Copy the link instead." Your browser has no device sharing menu. Use "Copy link".
The person sees "This link is unavailable" You deleted the link, or the chat is no longer shared. Create a new link and send it.
The person sees a sign-in page This is expected. They need to sign in to Agentum first.
The chat changed after you shared it The link keeps showing what was saved at the time. Delete the link and create a new one to share the latest messages.
