Voice settings
Purpose
When Mina asks Agentum a question out loud while cooking, she wants a voice she likes to answer. Choose the voice Agentum speaks with in voice mode, and decide how voice replies are shown as text.
Before you start
Use a browser that can play sound. The choice applies to your own seat.
Steps
- Open Settings, then "Voice". The row on the Settings home shows the voice you picked.
- Under "Voices", pick one of 14 voices. Each row says whether it is a woman or a man and its accent. Select the play button ("Play [name]") to hear a sample in the language of your interface; select it again ("Stop") to stop. Only one sample plays at a time.
- Select a row to make it your voice; a check mark shows the current one.
- Under "Show voice replies", choose "As they are spoken" (text appears as the voice speaks it) or "All at once" (the whole reply text appears as soon as it is ready).
Expected result
Your choice is saved at once. The next voice session speaks with that voice and shows text the way you chose. If your voice model does not offer the voice, it uses one of the same gender.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |

| A sample does not play | Check your device sound and browser permissions, then try again. |
| A sample stops by itself | Starting another sample or leaving the page stops the current one. |
| The voice sounds different from the sample | The model may use a voice of the same gender when it does not offer yours. |
| "Could not save settings." | Select the voice again once your connection is back. |
