Work with project files, chats and usage

Open in Agentum

Purpose

Neda wants the delivery rules, the questions customers keep asking and the chats about them in one place. Here you add shared files to a project, open or delete its chats, attach knowledge and check how much the project has used.

Before you start

Open an existing project in the correct workspace (see "Create a project"). You can add one file at a time, from 1 byte up to 25 MB, subject to your plan's upload and storage limits.

Steps

  1. Open Projects and select the project. The page has four tabs: Chats, Sources, Knowledge and Usage.
  2. Select Sources, then Add sources and choose one file from your device. When the upload ends, the file appears in the list with its size and date. Files added here are available across the whole project.
  3. To remove a source, open its options button (Options for [file name]) and select Remove source. It is removed at once, without a confirmation.
  4. To start a chat in the project, type in the box at the top (New chat in [project name]), attach files with Add files if you want, optionally pick a model, use dictation to enter the request and choose a reasoning effort when the selected model supports it (see "Dictate a message" and "Choose a chat model and thinking level"), and select Create chat.
  5. Select Chats to see the project's chats. Open a chat by selecting its row, or use its options menu for Open chat and Delete chat. Delete chat acts at once, without a confirmation.
  6. Select Knowledge to see the project's own knowledge base, which the whole workspace can always see. Add files or a web page there (Choose files, or Add a web page and Add link), or select Import project files to index the files on the Sources tab, then try a question under Test search. Under Attached knowledge bases, choose Choose a knowledge base and select Attach to let the project search another knowledge base too; the remove button (Remove [name]) detaches it. To ask about a knowledge base in a new chat, type @ in the box at the top. See "Create and manage a knowledge base" and "Add files, links and recordings to a knowledge base".
  7. Select Usage to see six counters for this project: Messages, Agent runs, Input tokens, Output tokens, Tool calls and Storage bytes.
  8. Use the back arrow at the top to return to the Projects list.

Expected result

Sources are stored with the project and listed with name, size and date. Each tab shows only this project's content.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
The upload fails The page shows an error. Check that the file is not empty and is 25 MB or smaller, that your plan allows uploads, and that it still has storage left (Settings, Storage), then try again. Look at the list before retrying, in case the file was added.
A tab shows an error with Retry Select Retry to reload that tab.
A file or chat list is empty The Sources tab says to add files that should be available across the project, and the Chats tab says to start a new chat in this project. Both are normal for a new project.
I removed a file or chat by mistake Removing a source or deleting a chat has no undo. Add the file again, or start a new chat.
