Add a ready-made agent

Open in Agentum

Purpose

Sara wants help with the weekly report, but she has never written agent instructions and would rather not start from an empty editor. Pick a ready-made agent from the gallery, read what it does and add it to your workspace in one step.

Before you start

Your plan must include custom agents and you need permission to manage agents in the workspace. A ready-made agent counts toward the workspace agent limit like any agent you create yourself. Everyone who can open "Agents" can read the profiles.

Steps

  1. Open "Agents". At the top of the page, "Meet your agents" shows ready-made agents as cards. Each card has a first name, a role such as customer reply agent or status report agent, and a short promise. Tabs above the cards sort the agents by area: "All", "Business", "Social media", "Enterprise", "Advisors", "Education", "Industry", "Legal", "Office", "University", "AI", "Travel", "Books", "Konkur" and "Just for fun". Type in "Search agents" to narrow the gallery: it keeps the ready-made agents whose first name, role, promise or description contains what you typed, and a tab with no match disappears. Your own matching agents are under "My agents", which shows only when one of them matches. If no ready-made agent matches, the page shows only your own agents.
  2. Select a card. The "Agent profile" window shows:
    • "What [name] does": a short list of its duties.
    • "Skills": the skills that come with it. A note says that adding the agent also adds these skills to your workspace.
    • "Suggested schedule", for agents that have one, such as every day at a set time or every week on a set day. A note says it is only a suggestion and nothing runs until you schedule it.
    • "Works well with": the plugins and tools that pair well with the agent. Travel, book and paperwork agents connect their Iranian service plugins (such as Jabama, MrBilit, Neshan, Taaghche or Ganjoor) for you when you add them; you connect any other plugin yourself.
    • "Try asking": example requests.
  3. Select "Add agent". The button reads "Adding" while it works, then a chat with the new agent opens. Each ready-made agent is added once per workspace. If your workspace already has it, the button reads "Open agent" and takes you to that agent instead of adding a second copy.
  4. To change it, open "Agents", find it under "My agents" and choose "Edit agent" (see "Edit an agent"). It is an ordinary agent: its name is a first name followed by its role, and you can rename it in "Identity" and change its instructions, model and every other setting.

The "Advisors" tab offers seven advisors for startups, strategy, marketing, sales, product, usability and management. Adding one also installs its available framework skills. Startup, strategy and sales advisors can guide you step by step and keep progress in your Files when Files is enabled.

Expected result

A new agent appears under "My agents", written in the language of your interface, with its description, conversation starters and instructions filled in, and a default model. Its skills are added to your workspace and switched on for it, and an agent that needs to search the web has the Web group of Platform tools switched on. Travel, book and paperwork agents also connect their Iranian service plugins for you and have them switched on; a plugin that cannot connect at that moment is left out, and you can connect it later in "Plugins". No other plugin is connected and the agent is not published: only your workspace can use it. Nothing runs by itself. The suggested schedule is only information: a task created in "Scheduled" always runs your default agent, and that form cannot choose this agent (see "Schedule a task").

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
"Meet your agents" is missing, or shows fewer agents While the search box has text, "Meet your agents" lists only the ready-made agents that match it, and it disappears when none match (the page then shows only your own agents). Clear the search to see them all. If it is still missing, reload the page.
Adding fails with an error in the window Read the message. Common causes: a plan without custom agents, the workspace agent limit, or a missing permission to manage agents.
The agent does not run on the suggested schedule The schedule is only a suggestion. Tasks created from "Scheduled" use your default agent; the form cannot schedule the gallery agent.
