Playfulness and achievements

Purpose

Mina enjoys a little humor from Agentum, while her cousin, who uses it only for work, wants plain answers. Each person decides for themselves: choose whether you see playful lines, Easter eggs, badges, badge messages and the option to share a moment, and see when someone else has switched a feature off.

Before you start

Sign in and select your workspace. These switches are saved for your seat in the current workspace and apply only to you. In a workspace where these features are not available, the whole group is missing from the page. "Playful replies" and "Easter eggs" are not available yet: their switches are dimmed and say "Not available yet."

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then "Personalization". Below "Show suggested prompts", find the group "Playfulness and achievements".
  2. "Playful replies" is not available yet, so its switch cannot be changed. Once released, when it is on, Agentum may add one short, light-hearted line after a finished answer (see Playful replies and Easter eggs).
  3. "Easter eggs" is not available yet either, so its switch cannot be changed. Once released, these are hidden surprises, such as special replies for certain occasions.
  4. Switch "Badges" on or off. When it is on, you see the badges you earn for how you use Agentum under "Achievements" (see Earn badges and see your Achievements).
  5. Switch "Badge notifications" on or off to show or hide the short message when you earn a badge. The switch is dimmed while "Badges" is off.
  6. Switch "Share this moment" on or off to show or hide the option to share a reply as a card (see Share a funny moment as a card). The description also mentions badges: each badge you have earned has a "Share this badge" button (see Earn badges and see your Achievements).
  7. Under "Time zone", check the zone. Your browser's zone is saved the first time the group is shown. It decides which hours count as night for the "Night owl" badge and which day the date-based Easter eggs fall on. Choose another zone from the menu if needed.
  8. Read the line under the group: "These switches apply only to you. Your workspace admin or the Agentum team can turn a feature off for everyone, and its switch is then locked here."

  1. A switch you cannot change is dimmed and its description tells you why: "Your workspace admin has turned this off." (an owner or admin turned the feature off for the workspace), "The Agentum team has turned this off for now.", "Not available while Data Privacy Mode is on.", "Not available right now. Try again later." or, for a feature that is not released yet, "Not available yet."

Expected result

Each switch is saved as soon as you flip it; there is no Save button. A feature runs for you only when it is on in your settings, on for your workspace and not locked in any other way. Badges you already earned are kept when you switch badges off.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
The group "Playfulness and achievements" is missing These features are not available in your workspace.
A switch is dimmed and says "Your workspace admin has turned this off." Ask an owner or admin to turn it back on under Workspace administration, "Policies". See Restrict workspace models, plugins and Work.
A switch says "The Agentum team has turned this off for now." The feature is paused for everyone. It returns here when it is switched back on.
A switch says "Not available while Data Privacy Mode is on." Data Privacy Mode applies, so playful lines and moment sharing are off there. See Use Data Privacy Mode.
"Playful replies" or "Easter eggs" says "Not available yet." The feature is not available yet. The switch cannot be used until the feature is released.
"Badge notifications" is dimmed with no message Turn on "Badges" first.
A switch does not change A dialog titled Error explains why saving failed. Select Close, check your connection and try again.
